Best Seats at the Mutua Madrid Open: a Guide to VIP Zones and Seating
Not all seats at the Mutua Madrid Open are equal. The Caja Mágica has a distinctive architecture — with a retractable roof unique on the tour circuit — which means that the choice of seating area fundamentally changes the experience. Here we explain where the best views are, which zones have VIP access, and how the VIP Club works.
The Zones of the Caja Mágica, from Best to Most Basic
VIP Club + Private Boxes
The most complete experience the tournament offers. Access to the VIP Club with DO&CO catering throughout the entire day, Beach Club with views over the outer courts and access to the most exclusive areas of the Caja Mágica. Private boxes have a direct frontal or lateral view of the Manolo Santana centre court. This is the zone managed by EnjoyVIP.
Centre Stand — Rows 5 to 20
The technically superior viewing angle for the tennis itself. Mid-height lateral view, ideal for following the game in detail. Does not include hospitality services — seat only. No VIP Club or premium zone access.
End Stand
Frontal view of the players when serving or playing towards your end. Good for visual excitement but less technically useful for following the game as a whole. Typically priced lower than the lateral stand.
Upper Tiers — Row 30+
A wide overhead view of the match from height. The sense of proximity to the players is lost. No additional services included.
Outer Courts (Tournament Pass)
A tournament pass grants free access to matches on the outer courts. It is the most accessible way into the venue, but there is no assigned seat on the centre court.
What Makes the VIP Club Different?
The difference between the VIP Club and any other seat is not simply in the chair — it is in everything surrounding it. The Mutua Madrid Open VIP Club is a self-contained venue within the Caja Mágica with its own entrance, DO&CO catering service throughout the day, the Beach Club zone and the opportunity to network with the most exclusive attendee profile in the tournament.
For corporate guests, executives and those seeking an elite experience beyond the match itself, the VIP Club has no equivalent within the venue.
Verdict: If the objective is pure tennis, the central rows of the lateral stand offer technically the finest view of the game. If the objective is the complete experience — gastronomy, networking, comfort and the match — the VIP Club is in a category of its own at the Mutua.
When Do the Best Seats Sell Out?
VIP Club and private box availability for quarter-final, semi-final and final sessions typically runs out between two and four months before the tournament. For the following year, many returning clients renew before the current tournament has even finished.
At EnjoyVIP we manage availability well in advance — if you already know you want to be at the Mutua 2027, now is the right time to enquire with no obligation.
