Riyadh Air Metropolitano: the official name and why it matters
Atlético de Madrid's stadium has been called the Riyadh Air Metropolitano since the match against Leganés on 20 October 2024. The deal, announced by the club on 9 October 2024, names the stadium for nine seasons, until the 2033 season. Riyadh Air is the Saudi airline that has been the club's main sponsor since 10 August 2023.
It was previously the Wanda Metropolitano (2017-2022) and the Cívitas Metropolitano (2022-2024); many third-party sites still use those names. It sits at Avenida de Luis Aragonés 4, 28022 Madrid, and holds 70,813 spectators, according to Wikipedia (2026).

All hospitality at the Metropolitano is sold under Neptuno Hospitality & Events (neptunopremium.com), the club's own brand. Its 2026/27 catalogue covers per-match VIP tickets, VIP season tickets, private boxes, events and two recent products: the 10-Match Pack and the VIP Pre-Match Experience.

Private boxes: 5 to 18 seats
According to Neptuno (2026), private boxes at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano seat 5 to 18 guests and are located in the North and South ends and the East and West stands. Access is by private lifts from the car park or the entrance level, with waiters and hostesses, and a gastronomic menu served in the box before, during and after the match. The indoor car park is reserved for season-ticket holders.
The Madrid Convention Bureau (esmadrid.com) puts each private box at about 25 square metres, seating 15 for a dinner or 35 for a cocktail, and counts 78 private suites and 23 multi-purpose spaces in the stadium. Neptuno also lists smaller VIP Boxes and the Superpalco, a large shared box with VIP service; public capacity figures exist only for the private boxes.
VIP season ticket: LaLiga, Copa and Champions League
Neptuno's VIP season ticket covers LaLiga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League at the stadium and includes catering from 90 minutes before kick-off, at half-time and up to 45 minutes after the match, cloakroom, private lifts from the car park and priority access to club events. The 2026/27 campaign is open with a waiting list (neptunopremium.com/abonos-vip/, 2026).

The 2026/27 situation: corporate boxes are sold out
According to the news item "Ya somos 61.500 abonados" published on Atlético de Madrid's website in summer 2026, every private box and corporate VIP box is fully taken for the 2026/27 season, only the last individual VIP seats remain and the club counted 5,571 provisional VIP season-ticket holders.
What it means for you: the realistic route to a specific match at the Metropolitano is a per-match VIP ticket in one of the named zones, the 10-Match Pack or the VIP Pre-Match Experience, while the season-ticket waiting list moves. 10-Match Pack and VIP Pre-Match Experience
The 10-Match Pack lets you pick ten LaLiga and Champions League fixtures with a VIP seat, a middle ground between a single ticket and a season ticket. The VIP Pre-Match Experience combines a visit to the club museum with catering and a VIP seat for the match (neptunopremium.com, 2026). Both work well for incentives and for guests visiting Madrid for the first time.
Peak demand at the Metropolitano is predictable: the Madrid derby and Champions League nights. Because the club confirms kick-off times about 15 days before each match, it pays to secure the VIP zone early and leave the final time for later; we let you know as soon as it is official.
Club rules: access, dress code, tickets and parking

- Dress code: not mandatory except in the Presidential Box; the club advises against sportswear, sleeveless tops and open footwear.
- Tickets: not named, so they can be given as gifts; children need their own ticket.
- Kick-off time: confirmed about 15 days before the match.
- Parking: about 4,000 spaces (1,000 indoor) reserved for season-ticket holders with a card. We arrange transfers for guests without one.

Corporate events away from matchday
The Riyadh Air Metropolitano is also hired as an events venue. According to the Madrid Convention Bureau it offers 23 multi-purpose spaces, a 441-seat auditorium and lounges such as the Sala VIP 1903 (up to 1,800 for a cocktail), the Sala VIP Manzanares (1,200 square metres) and the Pasillo de Palcos (1,600 square metres), plus a car park with 1,000 indoor and 4,000 outdoor spaces.
